Häufig gestellte Fragen: Garmin FIT-Export

Why does Garmin download a .zip file instead of a .fit file? +

Garmin packages the original .FIT file inside a compressed .zip archive. Simply tap the .zip file or share it directly into RunCut — RunCut automatically extracts and parses the .FIT file natively without manual unzipping!

Can I export .FIT files by plugging my Garmin watch into a computer via USB? +

Yes. Connect your Garmin watch via USB cable to a Mac or PC, navigate to the Garmin drive > GARMIN > ACTIVITY folder. All your activities are stored directly as raw .FIT files.
